The Stompede Nordstau splitboard glides early thanks to its wide powder shape and swallowtail and lets you float effortlessly through the deepest powder. With its short length and reverse sidecut on the nose, it is also very maneuverable in tight tree runs so that you can stay in the flow. What we do differently 👋

Nosedives are a thing of the past

The very wide nose, together with the elongated nose rocker and the early rise just in front of the binding, ensure early planing and incredible lift.

Effective edge hold

A light camber between the bindings provides the necessary edge support for traverses, harder sections or even days on the corduroys.

Swallowtail

Reduces the contact surface in the rear area of the board without shortening the effective edge length. This leads to a steeper angle of attack, so that the board floats early, but at the same time is still easy to control.

Fast and safe skin-mounting

With our EZ-Lock-skin-system, the skins can be securely attached in seconds. This is also possible when the board halves are connected and thus contributes to safety: When switching between ascent and descent mode, the skins can remain on the board, which minimizes the risk of them sliding away.

Binding compatibility

The binding inserts correspond to the Voilé interface standard and are therefore compatible with all common binding systems (SP, Spark, Karakoram, Plum, Union, K2).

With many splitboards you have to choose between a comfortable climbing or good downhill performance. When developing our splitboards, we make sure from the start that touring and downhill modes are combined without compromise.

Efficient ascent - more fun on the descent

Elaborate 3D microstructuring of the core and composite structures helps us achieve this: relaxed ascent thanks to the increased longitudinal stiffness, which prevents the board halves from sagging, but still a harmonious flex for full enjoyment on the descent.

The Union Explorer Split Disk features a unique design that brings the two halves of the splitboard together under your feet, providing a natural board flex and ride feel.

Step 1

Remove the pin from the base plate and press the binding directly down onto the disc.

Rotate the binding 90° in the direction of the arrows on the disk to align it with the pin hole. The binding will lock into place at the angle you set.

Insert the pin through the base plate and the disk. Lock the pin securely into the side wall cover of the base plate. And now it's time to enjoy the descent!

Spaß-Maschine

Was für ein geiles Teil. Habs als Split und Aufstiege gingen besser als mit meinem Family-Tree oder meinem Hovercraft. Bei beiden hatte ich Probleme mit meiner Schuhgröße und genug Volumen unter den Füßen (ich: 194cm, 94kg, US 13 mit Nirto Team und/oder K2 Aspect).
Touren: Powderreich und/oder stark gepresst. Ging alles super im Aufstieg. Hatte es für keine technisch schwierigen Passagen genommen, aber dafür ist es nicht primär gemacht. Abfahrt war ein TRAUM im Pow und Gepresstes... na ja, halt gepresst und man würgt es runter, aber dafür kann das Brett nichts. Tatsächlich hatte ich nie das Gefühl, dass es mich dabei im Stich ließe, also ist auch das ein Pluspunkt.

Zu meiner Überraschung war es auch auf der Piste richtig geil, carven ging 1A. Treeruns o.ä. habe ich nicht probiert, dafür scheint mir der Radius vielleicht etwas groß, aber probiert es aus.

Jetzt hatte ich es schon gesagt: Ich hatte nen Hovercraft 160 und hab das sofort nach diesem hier verkauft. Das Nordstau hat so viel mehr Auftrieb und im Aufstieg fand ich das Jones auch nicht dolle.

Ich hatte schon ein paar Jahre Stompede im Blick und bin froh, dass ich es dann endlich mal gewagt hatte.

Vielen Dank für dein ausführliches Feedback! Schön zu hören, dass das Nordstau bei deiner Schuhgröße so gut funktioniert und dir sowohl im Aufstieg als auch bei der Abfahrt so taugt. Wir freuen uns sehr, dass du den Schritt zu Stompede gewagt hast und so zufrieden bist. - Bruno

Nordstau Splitboard

Einfach nur Liebe - das Brett ist toll. Egal ob Wald, Piste oder Gelände - geht super nach oben und zum runter fahren, vor allem im Powder einfach nur ein Erlebnis 😍

Was soll man sagen, es macht einfach Spaß! Ich würde mir das Brett jederzeit wieder kaufen! Gerade in niedrigeren Gefilden mit mehr Wald ein Traum!

Nordstau Splitboard

Hab schon das zweite Board von Stompede und bin immer noch begeistert. Mit der Sprank ARC Bindung ist der Umbau noch einfacher und geht auch bei kaltem Wetter schnell und Problemlos zum umbauen.

Bis dato bin ich sehr zufrieden.

Bei den 3 Touren die ich bisher unternommen habe hat sich das Board gut bewährt.
Einzig das aufschieben der Bindung auf die Puks im Ride mode könnte einfacher sein.

Danke für die Bewertung. Zu deinen Problemen mit den Pucks gibt es auf der Spark-Seite ein paar Tipps:
- The bindings should slide on easily. If it feels like they are jamming, check your puck alignment and make adjustments as necessary.
- If your pucks are brand new, the fit might feel tight but will break in after just a couple of times changing over.
- If still too tight sand lightly on the top and sides of the pucks with the included sandpaper. Check fit while pucks are wet.

Probier das doch mal aus, dann sollte es normalerweise gut funktionieren.
