The deeper I dug, the clearer it became:
Not only splitboards, but snowboards in general are too expensive. It's not the raw materials and manufacturing that drive up the price, but the extras:
- Big pro teams traveling the world
- Expensive marketing agencies trying to sell completely new models every year that nobody really needs.
- Outdated sales structures that add a hefty surcharge at every level.

The real reasons
The deeper I dug, the clearer it became: It's not the materials or the manufacturing that make boards expensive, but everything else:
- Large professional teams that travel all over the world.
- Expensive marketing agencies that have to market completely new models every year, which nobody really needs.
- Outdated sales structures, where a hefty price increase is added at every stage.
Our path
I wanted to show that there is another way:
- No pro team
- No marketing babble selling questionable designs as “the next big thing.”
- Instead of the traditional and expensive detours via sales and shops, your board comes directly from us to you – fair, direct, and without surcharges.
The goal was clear: honest communication, lean structures, and a modern sales channel would ensure that you get the best board at the best price.
The long search
I'd already proven one thing... I couldn't build high-quality boards myself. Now I needed someone who could do it better.
As an engineer in medical technology, I was accustomed to manufacturing processes that demand the highest quality and precision. So, for board manufacturing, I looked for a partner who worked the same way.
After a long search, I found a manufacturer where I could tick off all the items on my checklist:

Even though we've grown since then, we're still a small, lean family business. I still answer most of the phone calls myself, sometimes even on the mountain, with cold fingers and a big grin on my face.
