ROCKERS & TAPERS

The long nose rocker, combined with the early rise just in front of the binding, ensure a flat angle of attack, which gives the Dawn Patrol enormous lift. The taper of the board from front to back, works together with the tail rocker to prevent the nose from diving.

In order to maintain a flat angle of attack on an edged board, we used reverse sidecuts on our boards. This means that turns can be initiated very easily and edge catching is efficiently avoided.

Fast and safe skin-mounting

With our EZ-Lock-skin-system, the skins can be securely attached in seconds. This is also possible when the board halves are connected and thus contributes to safety: When switching between ascent and descent mode, the skins can remain on the board, which minimizes the risk of them sliding away.

Elaborate 3D microstructuring of the core and composite structures helps us achieve this: relaxed ascent thanks to the increased longitudinal stiffness, which prevents the board halves from sagging, but still a harmonious flex for full enjoyment on the descent.

Ich fahre das Board nun schon seit einigen Jahren und denke gar nicht daran mich nach einem anderen umzuschauen :) Eine echte Powderwaffe in der Abfahrt. Rock, Rock! ! Hatte nun neue Felle nötig, jedoch habe ich wohl noch die Oldschool-Variante des Dawn Patrol ohne Löcher😁. Kurzer Anruf bei den Jungs und 10 Minuten später hatte ich eine Email mit den Infos zum Bohren der Löcher 👍

Ich bin auf alle Fälle sehr zufrieden mit dem kompletten Splitboardset Dawn Patrol / Spark ARC ST, es passt perfekt zusammen. Felle lassen sich auch einfach und schnell ab-/und montieren. Aufsteigen geht super auch bei harten Bedingungen. Das Board lässt sich super steuern und schwimmt im Powder schön auf. Ich bin 1.78m groß und habe mich für das lange Dawn Patrol 1.68m entschieden, war auf alle Fälle die richtige Entscheidung 8-)
Was mir auch sehr gut gefällt bei Stompede ist der Kundensupport, es wird immer sehr schnell (bei mir war´s immer der Bruno) geantwortet und professionell geholfen.
Alles tippi toppi, kann ich nur weiterempfehlen... VG Ben

Dawn Patrol Splitboard

Für das Patrol hab ich schon immer viel Werbung gemacht weil ich es so geil fand 😅. Gerade der Kantenhalt im Aufstieg, bei harten Stellen konnte ich noch recht lang ohne Harscheisen durchkommen während teils selbst die Skifahrer schon die Eisen dran hatten.
Ja gut und die Powder Performance ist schon auch sehr sehr geil.

Die Wendigkeit ist schon wirklich geil und mit dem Patrol hatte ich selbst auf Eis immer wirklich guten Halt und konnte auch in steilen Rinnen drauf vertrauen.
